Fingerstyle Freakout - Wesley Anne, Northcote

  • Jupiter 2 Records (map)

Geoff Achison & Aaron Pollock's Fingerstyle Freakout strips acoustic performance back to its raw essence, showcasing the astonishing power of human hands, imagination, and musicianship.

Both devotees of the original masters, Achison and Pollock create rhythm, melody, bass lines, percussion, and exciting lead work simultaneously — producing a dynamically full sound that audiences often swear must be coming from more than their simple acoustic instruments.

Blending blues, folk, country, and fiery improvisations, the show is equal parts jaw-dropping virtuosity and soul-driven songwriting.

Six strings, two hands, and countless hours of devotion. No loops, no pedals, no effects.

It's fingerpicking good!
