Welcome to our THIRD Acoustic Guitar Weekend in beautiful Yackandandah!

Many years ago, I was introduced to the great Jorma Kaukonen, appearing as a guest instructor at his amazing Fur Peace Ranch learning facility in southern Ohio. The format offered guitar students of all levels the opportunity to get away from it all, and focus on their craft, with the help and assistance of industry professionals. I loved the concept, and I returned on a regular basis to conduct my workshops over the next 17 years. The original Fur Peace Ranch is closed now, but I have had a hankering to do something similar here in Australia for a long time now.

So here it is! We have set up a weekend GUITAR retreat in beautiful Yackandandah, in northern Victoria. We invite you to spend a couple of fabulous days of playing, learning and discussing the wonders of acoustic guitar, with no distractions… apart from eating, chatting and jamming together.

The facility is called Discovery Camp in Yackandandah.
Basic rundown of schedule:
Friday: Arrive 4pm for Meet & Greet + check-in (we book a table at local pub for Fri night dinner - optional)
Saturday: Workshops/Jamming/Meal Breaks
Saturday: Night: Concert
Sunday: Workshops/Jamming/Meal Breaks
Sunday Afternoon: Open mic session / Wrap Up
