Congratulations on the new forum!

I can't believe I lucked onto checking out your site only hours after your first post.

Last night I was thinking about when I saw you at Malmsbury a few years back.  Great show - tough crowd.  Especially that guy at the back yelling out Gfarkus.  Talk about a chiken wire gig.  ;-)

Last time I caught up with you was at Dizzies in Richmond.  Another great show.

I was sitting here this morning listening to my signed copy of Chasing My Tail (no really - I'm not kidding).  When it ended I thought I'd check out your site to see your new stuff.

You'll be pleased to know 'Black Gold' still lives.  Maybe I'll dig it out and send you a photo so you can get all nostalgic.  8-)

Anyway, back to work for me - great site, and I'll catch up soon.

Gfarkus!!!!

-Rocky.

Hey Rocky,
Good to know that ol war horse still rocks!
I have a few old pix of me playing it at the Maldon folk fest with the legendary Alan Watson Jazz Band ... we all miss Al terribly.
Good to hear you're playing that CMT album.
Catch you at a gig soon I hope .... none of that Gfarkus business though ok!

Hey felllow music fans,  GREAT to see this new Board on Geoff's site.  We, and our rare breed of TRUE music loving fans from the grand ole US of A, say HEY (thats US Southern slang) or YO (thats US Northern slang) to all our Aussie brothers and sisters. We're jonesin' for some live Geoff Action. We are envious you get to see Geoff early and often, and can't wait to see him back in Yankee land sometime soon !

I've got a good quality CD of Geoff playing acoustic here in a small intimate show with a local Atlanta, Georgia talent Jeffrey Butts if anyone wants to explore classic Geoff with a new twist.  The show was from about 2002 or so and has some great stuff on there.  Geoff got up, and without knowing the songs or any rehearsal, stood up and made his magic and its something to behold.  I am happy to share.

Stay safe, and support your Australian Blues treasure, Geoff Achison !

Hi Tony D. Right now we are planning to have an extended trip, a year or more, including myself and Jacob to the USA. We hope to be there by April 2007 so you can expect it may get a little easier for you to catch Geoff around.
We'll finally get to meet, it'll be my first time in the US.
Cheers
Michelle

YEE HA!  That is music to my ears, Michelle !  Nancy and Geoff had spoke of such a possibility, I was hoping it was true!  We will show  you some fine hospitality, I promise.  My oldest daughter has volunteered to babysit the little dude and you are welcome at our house anytime!  I will get to work with Nancy and do my part to pave the way for the great landing of REAL music to the States !  Countdown begun......

Well I'm glad you're so pleased to hear that Tony. Finally I'll get to meet all of these wonderful people Geoff has been telling me about all of these years.

We are excited (not to mention nervous), quite a HUGE thing for us to pack up, fork out our savings and try the waters over the seas. I'm sure with all you folk we'll get settled quickly.
